The NAHJ DC board held their fall meeting at the National Press Club on Wednesday Sept. 7.  The board voted to increase funds for the Charlie Ericksen internship supplement to $500 – $465 for metro transportation to be put on a SmarTrip Card and $35 for NAHJ student membership dues. The chapter awards four supplements every year.

The board also established the student outreach committee that will be led by Arelis Hernandez and discussed upcoming membership meetings. The board would love to hear from members. Have any ideas for a membership meeting or partnership? Email the board at nahjdc@gmail.com
