NAHJ DC hosts membership drive meeting at NPR

NAHJ DC hosted its membership drive meeting at NPR’s headquarters in Washington on Jan 25 from 6:30-8:30pm. The meeting included a tour of the NPR offices followed by a discussion with Rolando Arrieta, production and operations manager of NPR News, Adrian Florido, reporter for NPR’s Code Switch team and Dustin DeSoto, NPR weekend producer.

NPR senior recruiter for news and content, Victoria Visgilio, shared information about opportunities at the organization and also offered career tips.

The event was part of NAHJ‘s membership drive campaign #MoreLatinosinNews. Regular NAHJ membership is only $35. Learn more here: NAHJ President Brandon Benavides sent a video message to encourage attendees to join and renew their membership.
