The NAHJ Washington DC chapter and the Washington Association of Black Journalists are pleased to announce the two journalists who will be honored
at our networking reception:
“Recognizing Journalism Excellence:
Celebrating D.C.’s diverse voices”
WABJ will be honoring veteran TV journalist Maureen Bunyan

NAHJ DC will be honoring Senior Reporter at WAMU,
the NPR news station in Washington, Armando Trull

Both journalists, whose careers span decades, have helped advance diversity in news
and left an important mark both in D.C. and beyond.
The event will be held Wednesday, April 19 from 6 to 8:30pm at the National Press Club.
Light appetizers will be served and there will be a cash only bar.
The event is free, but we are accepting donations for our Washington Journalism Diversity Initiative.
