We are pleased to announce we will have a White House briefing with top Latino officials in the Biden administration.

When? Wednesday afternoon, February 22, 2023, at the White House.

Members in good standing will be able to attend. We have a limited number of seats. Please email nahjdc@gmail.com to RSVP (Note: an RSVP does not guarantee admittance). The meeting will last most of the afternoon beginning at 3:30 PM followed by a membership dinner.

As with our previous White House briefings, the meeting will be on the record and include a White House Press Room tour.

As you may remember, the Obama Administration first invited us for a White House briefing to discuss the Affordable Care Act. The briefing was so successful, the administration invited us the following year to discuss Open Enrollment. 

During the Trump Administration, we requested a White House briefing. At the time, I was national president and met with the Director of Media Affairs, Helen Aguirre. She promised the same access to a briefing with top Latino officials in the administration. But the administration never followed through with a briefing.

We submitted our same request for a White House briefing and the Biden Administration agreed. We look forward to continuing our tradition of a White House briefing with top Latino officials in the administration.
