  1. I would like to invite Laura Romero, president of the American University chapter of NAHJ and recipient of your Charlie Ericksen Award, to be a speaker at our career day at Eastern Middle School in Montgomery County Public School District. Our career day is Friday, March 29, from 8:30am to 10am. Eastern is a media magnet middle school with a sizable Hispanic population. Yet there is minuscule representation in our school media activities (newspaper & lit mag) as well as our Humanities program. Please have her reach me at her earliest convenience at reginald_w_ragland@mcpsmd.org or by call/text at 202.468.8345. Thank you.
